End of 2019

We are adjusting to living together and today, along with A we did some bank work. Very difficult to get mom out the door and as you know, anything at the bank takes a long time but we did get beneficiaries set up at 2 banks. Trying to reduce the number of banks but that hasn’t happened yet.

We have also been working on getting her up and moving more, taking a walk everyday. We’ve only gone a couple of blocks each day but as she says, “we have to walk back home!” I keep telling her that my goal is for her to walk a mile before she goes to K’s house but I’d be thrilled if we can get to bay and back or around the block! She is working on standing up straighter when she walks and wearing her Keds, has made the walk easier for her. Her other shoes slip on her heels and she feels more stable in the sneakers. I’m trying to make sure she gets outside for a few minutes every day, even if that means sitting on the porch. Hopefully the weather will hold out and we can enjoy time outside.

If there is anything you want me to cover, please let me know. V has asked I let you know if there is anything she especially likes to eat or doesn’t but so far, she eats whatever I give her. I am trying to get her trained to use the Keurig herself, so first things first!! Hope you have a Happy 2020!!
